Caitlyn Scaggs has experienced a journey full of plot twists! She’s gone from being a police officer, to a marketing professional, to a c-level executive. Caitlyn then founded her own marketing agency, which was strategically acquired 16 months later. After that, she was an Associate Vice President at a University and their spokesperson during the height of the pandemic. She has served an international non-profit as Head of Justice Enterprise and even published her own book. Right now, she helps businesses and organizations grow in their impact through her business, Connect 936. Wow – it has been an adventure!
Caitlyn is on a mission to help others grab onto their God-given value and to fully embrace their faith. She does this is big and small ways from leading a women’s Growth Group to traveling the country as a keynote speaker for women’s empowerment topics. A good day for Caitlyn is one in which she can look someone in the eyes and encourage them authentically and deeply.
In 2023 Caitlyn published her debut book, “Worth It & Wonderful: Inspiration for Christian Women to Live Bravely and Boldly.” Her book was written to be relentlessly encouraging while also being realistic about challenges and opportunities faced by women. With faith as her compass, she leads women toward abundant and joyful living as they turn each page.
Caitlyn is an established media personality and uses her platform to speak about purpose-driven, impact-focused, and courageous living. She is known for speaking candidly and with enthusiasm.
Above all, Caitlyn is deeply committed to her faith and family. Those core priorities drive everything that she does and are the reason she lives life with joy, zest, and a heart for seeing and serving others.
One of Caitlyn’s most meaningful roles to-date was serving as Head of Justice Enterprise for New Hope Girls, an anti-trafficking organization based in the Dominican Republic. In this role, she used her strategic communications and business expertise to help grow and scale the non-profit.
Ready for a few “fun facts” about Caitlyn? While she has always lived in Virginia she has spent her summers on the coast of Maine – that is her happy place. She is an avid runner and coffee drinker. Caitlyn loves the color yellow and has more books on her night stand than she can count. She is know for her epic spontaneous dance parties in her kitchen and the only food she despises is olives.
