What’s your perspective?

Is the glass half full or half empty? Is it a challenge or an opportunity?

Much of life’s circumstances are defined by how we frame them and what we allow ourselves to see! In this excerpt, from a recent webinar I provided, I discuss and explore how we can reframe our circumstances to not just survive but to thrive.

The need to pick a perspective is required by all of us. Covid-19 has presented us with truly puzzling circumstances and has flipped the script on all our routines, relationships and realities. We have found ourselves in a crossroads of sorts. We can choose to be crippled by the difficulties and frame it as a never ending evolution or challenges. Or, we can choose to be stubborn in our resolve to see the opportunities that exist within the unexpected.

Do you have to stay home with your kids or do you get to stay home with your kids?

Are you frustrated because you aren’t great with technology or are you going to use our current digital-realities as a way to polish your skills?

Are you focusing on all that you can’t do right now or are you reflecting with gratitude on the ability to slow down and savor the simple things?

Yes, much of living within a global pandemic is challenging but I urge you to reframe your perspective and allow your eyes to rest on the opportunities.

This webinar excerpt is from a Women of the Chamber presentation I provided for the Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce. It was a wonderful experience connecting with this amazing organization and its members! If you are seeking a speaker for an upcoming event please let me know!
